The Vancouver Island British Columbia Ferries...These ferries can carry up to 300 cars, truck and buses.
This photo was taken as the ferry came into Vancouver Island at Swartz Bay, Saanitch.
My late friend lived just 300 yards from the Wharf. A great sight to watch every day.
Constant movement 24 hours. I stayed there for 4 weeks.
Worth a visit if you are in Canada.
They travel from the City of Vancouver to the island very regularly. The trip takes about 1.5 hours.
There are other specially designed ferries that transport the truck rigs daily.
