Arnie and Bob

BOTTOM left is my late brother Robert Deegan, Mr. Australasia 1973 appearing in the 2nd issue of Cleo Magazine with Paul Graham.  Bottom right is Big Arnie, with Robert, in early 70's 0n Surfers Paradise Beach, Queensland, Australia.  He was here to judge a number of Bodybuilding State Championships.  Bob won the lot. At top left is photo of Arnold at 17.  The 2 small photos are of Arnold Shwarzeneggar taken, 9th July, 1987. I took the shots at the ceremony at Graumen's Chinese Theatre, Hollywood. The day he put his hands and feet in cement at the front of the theatre.  The whole ceremony, a little after this shot, dispersed, after people shouted a warning: "Pickpockets." My girlfriend and I were talking to 2 police officers who warned us just before the incident.  

Bob was asked to move to the US, by Arnold. He did.  It was not successful. He took up with a promoter other than Arnold and his entourage.  Big mistake.  He made the cover and centre page spread of MD Muscular Development Magazine April, 1973. The shots are available on
