Steam

The 18b and a quarter.  Steam locomotive used extensively 

in the Mackay area.  I have made an extensive study of this engine, now being renovated at the Mackay Harbour.

You will see various sketches and paintings of this train throughout the blog.

Queensland Rail are celebrating Q150 this year.  A selected steam train is at present travelling the State and visiting towns for a

few days, capturing the era a steam.  I am endeavouring to put together quite a few sketches of steam trains that I have artistically captured over a number of years.  Hopefully I can obtain a few more examples of Queensland Steam Trains to ad to the collection.
