My neighbour doing a few adjustments on his truck. He stands 6'1'' tall. The scariest things about these monster trucks is night driving. I was driving the company ute along the haul road early early one morning a few years back and cruising to the warehouse.. All of a sudden there was this faint light in front of me.
It was one of these dumpers. No tail lights. They were obscured by coal dust build up.
What I was looking at was the headlights of the truck through underneath the vehicle. If I had not been observant, or a little tired, I would have not seen the light till the last minute... as I was driving straight through under the vehicle. It put a scare into me. The day before I saw what these vehicles can do to an ordinary work vehicle. TRUE STORY.
