The Leap Hotel

The label here is from a bottle  of wine that sells at Mackay's Leap Hotel.

The idea of  the wine was that of "Happy" Scott, former publican of the Leap Hotel here in Mackay.

Selling point was the slogan on the label... Three Jumps in Every Bottle.

The story goes.. (printed on label) of a young Aboriginal mother being chased by authorities leaping from the mountain behind the hotel, known as "The Leap."

Over the years there have been hundreds of bottles sold.

Amazingly the reason for the many sales is the slogan.  People find it humourous.  It must be a collectors item.
