Fat Boy Slim

Reading the Sunday Mail, (Sunday, Feb. 15, 2009) the Brisbane Sunday paper came across a story about Fat Boy Slim or Slim Boy Fat, whichever.  He must be a British Pop Star.  The story featured a friend of mine, a former Mackay resident.  Ken Manders.   A few years back, just before he left for Brisbane, his lovely daughter was reported .... on TV... and in the papers, that she had had a fatal accident.  If you have been to Brighton Beach in England, you will know what Brighton Beach looks like.  She had apparently been attending a pop concert.  Tragically she fell off the wall. After all that, you would imagine how Ken and his wife felt.   Seems according to the paper... the rock star has not let the fatality go.  He is using the incident to his favour. Seems Ken has never had contact with him. He (the PopStar) implies he has had contact with the parents. Sadly Ken wants to let the matter lie.  This idiot keeps bringing it back to life.  Ken Manders was a wall clad installer/builder here in Mackay.   He was a member of the Mackay City Bowls Club.
