Actual Framed painting is printed on a page of this blog. Painted by Patrick T. Deegan. The painting was scrutinised in stages as it was being painted, by the engineers rebuilding the actual engine at the Mackay Depot of the Mackay Steam Restoration Society. The artist was involved in the restoration for a short time. The restoration is still in progress.
