The HMS and HMAS Moreton Bay.
Started of under the Australian Navy.. then secconded to the English Navy. My father, Australian, Jack Deegan, had 2 lots of service medals. Australian and English.
My father said there were 55 ships behind the HMAS Moreton Bay on leaving for UK from Sierra Leone. The Moreton Bay was the decoy ship out front to deceive the German UBoats.
